Alas, alas, Iranians have no capacity for opposing view points, even today in Russia there are monarchists loyal to the old Romanov Tsars, yet no chant of death to the Romanov supporters is heard. Same thing in France, Italy etc...Our people always have to shout death to this and that. We cannot as a people live together or accept each other with differences.
I really like to see some of those in these pictures say they are sorry and made mistake, but NO, our people like to blame the old regime for them going to the streets and and hoisting pictures of a blood thirsty mullah. In stead of accepting that they made a mistake, they clearly like to say that its some one else' fault.
Alas alas, we could not even do what they did in South Africa, the leader of the ANC, a communist at one time, in jail for 27 years came out and claimed peace and brotherhood and all under one nation. In Iran it came to be about robbery of the homes and belongings of others. Lying and cheating to steal what your neighbors had worked for. NOT one of those in these pictures accepts the roles they played in this national disaster of a so called revolution to stael, lie and introduce a culture of hatred to a once promissing land.
We went from a country led and ruled by the elite for the elite to one of a country led by the Obash for the obash. Alas alas.
Dissapointment

Perhaps the biggest disappointment of the century. What could have been a great thing did not happen.
Many countries shook off old regiemes and are in a better place today or didn't decline; former Soviet republics, or even Turkey. Sadly this is not the case for Iran.
Iranians did not have the capacity for modernization and fell victim to the belief that the grass is greener on the other side of the fence.
I am willing to say socially and culturally Iran is over 50 years behind the rest of the western world.
How sad how sad
