My mom was born in Baku but her family had emigrated from Iran in early 20th century. The family was expelled from the USSR in the late 1920s. This is the last family photo taken in Baku. in this photo, my mom is being held by her mom and is with her bothers and sisters. Their father was already expelled to Iran the previous year.
