Pianist and composer Masoud Eskandar started his career in music in Tehran. He studied piano performance and composition at the Vienna Music Conservatory before coming to the United States, where he formed a jazz trio and started teaching. One of his utmost goals is to arrange more Iranian traditional, classical, and popular music for piano. He has also written a few books which can be played by pianists at more advanced and intermediate levels. Presently, Masoud and his family live in Dallas, Texas, where he composes and teaches piano. He loves to work with young students of all nationalities.
