Former Bush press secretary Tony Snow dies

WASHINGTON - Tony Snow, a conservative writer and commentator who cheerfully sparred with reporters in the White House briefing room during a stint as President Bush's press secretary, died Saturday of colon cancer. He was 53.

"America has lost a devoted public servant and a man of character," President Bush said in a statement from Camp David, where he was spending the weekend. "It was a joy to watch Tony at the podium each day. He brought wit, grace, and a great love of country to his work."

Snow, who served as the first host of the television news program "Fox News Sunday" from 1996 to 2003, would later say that in the Bush administration he was enjoying "the most exciting, intellectually aerobic job I'm ever going to have."

Congratulations to all vatanparast Iranians.

When he had radio shows, he would always demanize iranians, and promote hatered against us. We are all happy he is not on this earth any longer. Lets hope that the  likes of him will never see the light of day.

Indeed, one of the most despicable posts that I have read on this BB; this character, Shiney whatever, is a true disgrace to Iranians. He or she is a digrace to our humnitarian and beuatiful Iranian culture that, as another poster rightly noted above, has taught all of us that we don't demonize those who are no-longer among us, but apparently this Shiney Head has been devoid of "Adab, Tarbiyat, Ensaniyat," that are the hall marks of Iranian culture

Shiney Head dude!! Don't speak on behalf of Iranians, and if there is an ounce of shame in you, you'd come back and apologize to all for this type of Lat o Lompan behavior.

Dude,

You show extremely poor taste in celebrating a person's death, especially one who never did anything to you personally.  You're going to have to do a lot of celebrating if you think everyone who hates Iranians and then dies is worth a friggin party.  Half of the peopel in the Western world hates us.

You demonstrate how uncouth you are by not having the decency just to keep quiet.  Don't you think Mr. "I don't like Iranians" Snow has a wife and children that can read English.  I hope they don't see your callous words because you make all of us seem as bad as him.

My mother taught me when I was a child that if I couldn't say something nice about someone, I ought to keep my big mouth shut.  It works!  Why don't you give it a try?
