Israel's national security adviser says US trying to 'distinguish' itself from Israel on Iran

JERUSALEM (AP) — Comments by President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden about a possible Israeli attack on Iran's nuclear facilities were directed at Iran and meant to "distinguish" the U.S. from Israel, the Israeli premier's national security adviser said Wednesday.

Also, American leaders are signaling Iran that the U.S. is still interested in diplomatic engagement, the adviser, Uzi Arad, told The Associated Press,

Speaking to ABC-TV on Sunday, Biden appeared to depart from his previous comment that an Israeli attack on Iran would be ill-advised, saying: "Israel can determine for itself — it's a sovereign nation — what's in their interest and what they decide to do relative to Iran and anyone else."

The following day, Obama in a visit to Moscow was asked by CNN if Biden's comment's represented the U.S. giving Israel a "green light" to attack.

"Absolutely not," the president replied.

The next day, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Adm. Mike Mullen, warned that a military strike to thwart Iran's nuclear weapons capability could have grave and unpredictable consequences. Iran has denied trying to build nuclear bombs. >>>

Wgm1919,

Dear tranny wgm1919,

Apparently you must’ve been living in a different planet.

IRI in the past 30 years has engaged in the rape, murder, imprisonment, exile, mental oppression, humiliation and destruction of the dignity of 70 million Iranians. It has physically destroyed Iran, butchered its reputation, its values and its dignity. It has brought killing, terrorism and war to Iran and the world. It has applied medieval laws, forced half of our people to wear Hijab, butchered human rights principals, started a conflict with the whole world, disrespected our heritage, …and the list goes on. I can hardly imagine a worst scenario for any people.

Israel is not perfect either. And no one supports its occupation of Arab lands. But, to your disappointment, no one wants it to be removed from the face of the planet either except mentally sick people like the IRI regime, however, the whole world want to see the IRI regime removed. That’s the difference. The world wants Israel to do stop doing “bad” things, but they want IRI to stop existing because “bad things and deeds” are part of what IRI is!

Re: Wgm1919 What IRI

Dear Mrs. Farhad Kashani

Apparently you cannot tell the difference between 60 years of occupation, demonization of millions of human beings, rape, and destruction conducted by your clientel (the Zio-Nazis regime), and IRI that has been in power for 30 years, has gained a lot for Iran during those years in spite of all the sanctions and other evil acts of governments such as US and the Zio-Nazis. IRI is not perfect, but they are preferred anytime over the blood sucking zio-nazis, not just in Iran, but anywhere in the world.

thank you.

What IRI has done to Iranians, and others, is far worse than what Israel has done to Palestinians. Plus, why as an Iranian, are you silent about horrific human rights conditions in Iran, but you drain your energy talking about Israel? Only one answer to that: part of IRI propaganda to demonize Israel in order for itself to look good. And also divert attention from itself to Israel.

Well, it didn’t work before, and certainly, it won’t work anymore.
