Paris claims UN nuclear watchdog helping Iran

France claimed that the UN nuclear watchdog Thursday is withholding evidence that may determine whether or not Iran is trying to build an atomic bomb.

Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner accused the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) of holding back key parts of a report it published last week on Tehran's nuclear plans.

Such accusations echo those of nuclear-armed Israel.

Kouchner claimed the information was in unpublished annexes of the report. The public section of the document said Iran had slowed its production of enriched uranium and had agreed to closer monitoring of its enrichment plant.
