IRVINE, CA – Aug 08, 2008   Mehregan Artistic Design Competition 

This year for the first time, Mehregan is offering an Artistic Design Competition.  The Organizing Committee is looking for a fresh look for the festival entry area, site and the bazaar/marketplace.   Using the theme of PEACE, we are inviting all university students to enter this design competition as a team.  Artistic teams can each provide up to three different entries.   A $2,000 to $5,000 honorarium will be paid to the winning team, and due credit will be provided on all printed materials to the team selected.

This year, also for first time we are offering limited number of free display spaces to Visual Arts students to showcase their art at the festival.  We invite Artistic teams and individual art students to contact Mehregan at Mehregan@nipoc.org [1] or call 949-851-3993 for an appointment to discuss qualification.
