There goes the neighborhood
Letter to iranian.com:
An Iranian family has just moved into a home across the street from me
(White, Caucasian of Christian background) and my wife.
The lady of the house and (possibly) teenage girl dress in what I would
call traditional dress. The younger children, a teenage boy and the
adult male wear traditional Western fashions. Are there any social
"taboos" that I should be aware of?
While I have not gone over to formally introduce myself (don't want to
make any mistakes), I do wave a greeting when I see them outside. Any
advice you can give will be appreciated.
