Lion licking ice

A lion licks a block of ice to beat the heat at a zoo in Hyderabad, 160 km (100 miles) from Karachi June 14, 2004. Residents burnt tires to protest against a power breakdown in the city where temperatures rose up to 45 degrees Celsius (113 degrees Fahrenheit) on Monday forcing people to stay at home.
