When it comes to the enhanced photo-image poster-portraits of the leaders of the Islamic Republic, there is no doubt about who inspired Ahmad Aqa Qolizadeh and Sedigheh Vosoughi, the artists. It was none other than Andy Warhol, whose many portraits of the Empress and the Shah hung on the walls of the imperial palaces and in the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art.
