The Iranian

Sadeq Hedayat committed suicide in Paris more than 50 years ago (April 8, 1951). A series of books published in Iran and abroad have revealed new aspects about the most influential Iranian author of the 20th century. These photographs were published for the first time by his family in Iran. From Hasrati, Negaahi va Aahi (A Regret, A Glance, and A Sigh, Did Publishers, Tehran 2001).
