The Iranian

Reyhaneh Bakhtiari started painting from childhood. After high school, she moved to the U.K. to continue her artistic life in Swindon College, University of London. In 1977 she moved back to Iran where she has had an active artistic life.

Her work -- displayed at more than 22 exhibitions in Iran and abroad -- express feelings, depict natural and realistic settings, and reflect historic and mythical subjects.
