The Iranian
In the summer of 1977, Aydin and Shohreh Aghdashlou invited me to breakfast at
their home in Tehran (*). For some time, Shohreh
and I had talked about me photographing her. On that particular Friday, I had my
camera along with 12 rolls of film. We began the photo shoot around noon and finished
in the early evening.
Before I returned to Italy in 1980, I met Aydin and Shohreh twice more. But I
haven't heard from them since. I have enclosed two photos in memory of that warm
Friday. Shohreh is one of most beautiful, attractive and interesting people I've
ever met.
If anyone knows how I can contact her, please
let me know.
