E Maestro Mehta, apro (our) Zubin, takes a
bow with the Israeli Philharmonic. The
former conductor of the Los Angeles and NewYork Philharmonic orchestras, he is
a
proud Indian, who always travels with his Indian passport and a bottle of chillies.
In
1994 he succeeded after years of trying, to bring the Israeli orchestra to India
and to the
