Dear Googoosh
Hi, my name is Nika, your
fan from Spain. I wrote to Iranian.com in the summer 2001 and
told them how much I love you. You have
been one of the greatest inspirations in my life. To make the
long story short, I got to know you in London back in the late
80s when
I bought your music and fell in love with you immediately.
I
traveled to your country in 1995 and fell in love with it too.
Since then
I have followed your artistic career. After you came out of
seclusion I went all the way to LA and was present at your magnificant
concert at the Great Western Forum in LA. I found you much better
than
my expectations and that night was one of the most memorable
nights of my life. I have made friends with a lot of Iranians with
whom
I regularly exchange mails. I loved your new albums so much
and although I do not understand the words, my friends sometimes
send me the translations. They send me photos and latest news
about
you and just a few days ago they told me about your illness.
I
wish you all the best in this world and hope to see you in
Spain. You are one of the greatest musicians of the present time
and
it's a shame not many nations are familiar with you. I always
check upon Iranian.com to see your
photos in nostalgia section and
I
love that too.
