Here are five photos of Shahram Nazeri's concert with the Dastan Ensemble at San Francisco's Palace of Fine Arts, May 13, 2001. I would have taken more pictures, but the organizers would not allow it. The concert was fabulous (much better than I expected, although there were moments when there was almost nothing happening, with only one musician hitting a few notes, then another...). There were several standing ovations in the packed hall ...
