Signs in Egypt

I shot these photos during my recent travel to Egypt,
including Alexandria and Cairo. I have chosen subjects related to
Western influence in under-devolpoed countries. Living in Sweden
for about 20 years, my travel to Egypt brought back memories of
Iran during the timeof the Shah.
To the people living in Egypt or countries that are
in the same situation, these signs are not unusal and are obvious
elements of everyday life. To them, these signs are not necessarily
foreign to their native culture but symbols of modern life.
I don't want to write about my thoughts and conclusions.
