 Radio A couple of months ago I found an old tape in my uncle's house. It was an hour long "Barnaameye Khordsaalaan" from Radio Iran. He had recorded the show before he left the country in the early 70s. I guess he wanted his German-born children to learn Farsi listening to those shows. I didn't think much of it.... but later on when I listened to the tape, I discovered 3 really beautiful songs on it. There was also a very interesting "Ghesseh" and live shows for the kids. Too bad Radio Iran never had this kind of programming when I was growing up. The songs are so pure and uplifting... and I think bring back really fond memories for the kids of yesterday.
