* Dr. Farhad Behbahani has previously been active with Nehzate Azadi (Freedom Movement) and Jamiate Defaa Az Azadi (Society for the Defense of Freedom). He lives in Iran but he is currently in the U.S. He has written and published many articles in reformist newspapers in support of the current reforms and democrocy in Iran. He was jailed for several months back in the late 80's right before the end of war with Iraq along with other Nehzat-e Azadi members.
