The ostrich from Rafah children's zoo
is in a bit of a flux about what to do.
Its home's been razed by Israeli troops
blundering, murderous nincompoops.
"I'm being chased," he says, "from door
to door, nobody gives a hoot anymore.
"Surely it's time for the terror to stop
When our kangaroo is afraid to hop,
When Mr Tortoise stays in his shell,
And even the kids are forced to rebel.
Won't these racist killers, I ask you
as an ostrich not a Muslim or Jew,
roll more tanks into Palestinian land
if we all keep our head in the sand?"
