Iranian girls sing a pro-Khatami song during a rally for candidates running
in the upcoming parliamentary elections that will back the policy of reforms
of moderate President Mohammad Khatami in Tehran, Iran Tuesday Feb. 15,
2000. The outcome of the elections, scheduled for Feb. 18, will determine
the future course of the reforms wich are opposed by hard-line clerics,
who have lost ground since Khatami took office in 1997 but still hold a
majority in the current parliament. The covers of the music sheets show
