Solmaz Sharif, who at age 13, wrote "My father's shoes", first published in Iranian.com, and later in "A World Between: Poems Stories and Essays by Iranian-Americans". In the next few days, Solmaz will be leaving Los Angeles to study at University of California, Berkeley.
