About 300 Lebanese and Palestinian women demonstrated ahead of Jerusalem Day. The demonstration was organized by Lebanon's Hezbollah group to mark the 1979 declaration by the late Iranian leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, which set aside the last Friday of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan as Jerusalem Day.
