Members of the Majlis look on as another counts votes Monday, June 11, 2001, during a session in which reformist supporters of President Mohammad Khatami have again won key posts in the parliament's leadership for a term of one year. At the open session, a close ally of Khatami was re-elected parliamentary speaker for another year and a brother of the president was elected first deputy speaker. Khatami was re-elected president in last Friday's elections by an overwhelming majority.
