The girl had been following the funeral procession of some of 1,000 soldiers killed in the 1980-88 Iran-Iraq war and exumed from the former front line areas. Iranian President Mohammad Khatami pledged on Wednesday to press on with his drive to reform the Islamic Republic after June 8 presidential elections, despite bitter opposition from the conservative establishment.
