 Kourosh Parham writes: I would like to nominate Dr. Mansoor Sarfarazi, Director of the Molecular Opthalmic Genetics Laboratory and Professor of Human Genetics, University of Connecticut Health Center, for his discovery of a new glaucoma gene. This discovery, published in the journal Science, attracted worldwide attention. A few of the links reporting on this discovery are included below.
