Azam Nemati writes: My
15-year-old son Aryan Nemati and his team-mate will be representing the State of
Florida in the "Japan Bowl Competition" which will take place in Washington
DC (March 28-31, 2002). The requirement is to read, write and speak Japanese as well
as knowing the culture and history. He is in an International Bachelorate (IB) high
school program and also reads, writes and speaks Farsi. He is the only Iranian who
represented his middle school (among 129 in the county) in Spelling Bee competition
and won 13th place in Florida.
