He is an alumni of The Tuller School, Walnut Cove Grammar School, The Forsyth Country Day School, The University of North Carolina (Chi Psi), The Improvolympic, The Second City, and Saturday Night Live. He is a founding member of The Upright Citizens Brigade. He was trained in Improvisation by Del Close and Charna Halpern. He studied acting in the '90's in Chicago with the incomparable Ms. Mary Ann Thebus.
