 Gina Cunningham (left), Azam Nemati, and Gina's husband Peter Eves Azam Nemati writes: Gina and Peter are truly my Iranians of every day for having gone to Iran and spending eight weeks with the Bakhtiari tribes filming their migration and taking magnificent pictures as well. Gina and Peter hosted a three-day event called "In the Land of The Stone Lions". He sculpted the Lion (in the back) and the events featured Rumi night where the locals recited Rumi in various languages, exhibited the beautiful pictures and showed Iranian movie as well as hosting a brunch featuring Iranian food. They portrayed Iranians as very cultured, educated and very warm and hospitable people. The majority of the people who attended the event were non-Persians. We need more people like Gina and Peter.
