I would like to nominate Jalil
Atlaschi my cousin's son from
Atlanta, Gorgia, as the "Iranian of the Day". Jalil is
a martial arts protégé who started his formal Karate training
at the age of 4 and later became a black belt when he was only
7-years old. He is the top ranked competitor in NASKA's (North
American Sport Karate Association) competitions in 9 and under
Boys bracket in "Form - Open" and "Form
- Traditional", "Weapons - Open" Category
for 2003. He does not compete in the "fighting" category
per wishes of his parents, Reza and Dee Dee Atlaschi. We are all
so proud of him.
