I would like to nominate Prof. Bob Djavan as Iranian of the Day. He is one of the recognized authorities in Radical Urological Surgery in Europe and very well known within Urology circles throughout North America too. Currently he is the head of the Prostate Disease, Neurourology-Urodynamics and Oncology Centres at the Department of Urology of the University of Vienna.

Additionally he is an eloquent speaker and his lectures keep the audiences glued to their seats. After all the years he has spent in Austria, wherever I travel throughout Europe, urologists regardless of their nationality proudly refer to him as the Persian Urologist.
