i would like to nominate my dear friend, maryam manteghi, as iranian
of the day, today! she is featured in this picture, second from
left. we
are a group of young, intelligent, beautiful persian women living
in bosnia hercegovina -- maryam has kept our group laughing and
happy because
she is so ba hal and has THE best sense of humour out of everyone
i know. personally, maryam has been an anchor to me over the last
two years and i dont know what i would do without her kindness,
generosity, her
warmth, her complete sincerity and magnanimous spirit. this
is to honor this very, very special woman.
