I am happy to give you this piece of information (completely real),
that I won a 20,000-Swiss
Frank prize from Pro Helvetia -- the Art Council of Switzerland -- for my comic strip book. The book
will be published in 2006.
I submitted this project under my full name; Parsua Bashi
Su, which has my husband's name after my family name. I am very
happy and proud that I could do something worthy, and bring the
name of Iran in the most important artistic assosiation
in Switzerland. There is another Iranian -- a lady musician --
in the list of prize winners: Azita
Hamidi. She
is very good.
