I nominate my uncle, Mehdi Ardalan, as Iranian of the day. His spirit of resilience, sense of humor and dignity throughout his life and during his fatal battle with cancer will always be a source of inspiration to me. Amu Mehdi worked hard, played hard and held his up with the warmest of smiles. May his soul rest in peace.
