Ayatollah Beheshti: Mazloom

The first person to utter these words "mazloom vaaghe' shod" was Ayatollah Khomeini in reference to Ayatollah Mohammad Beheshti (top), a senior member of the IRI's inner circle, who died along with more than 70 others in a bomb explosion at the Islamic Republic Party headquarters on June 28, 1981. "Mazloom vaaghe' shod" (meaning "morede zolm vaaghe' shod" or "he was unjustly treated") is now almost commonly uttered in Iran.
