Ripple effect
At the moment of Norooz (Saal Tahveel), one of the items on the
Haft Seen is supposed to move. I had heard that it's the apples
placed in the fish bowl. But all four who responded said it's the
movement of the colored eggs that signifies the beginning of
the new
year.
Also Viviane wrote: The
egg placed on the mirror moves- or in some houses the narenj placed
in a bowl of water. Some people
also say the golf fish. The bull of time carries for a whole year the
world on one of its horns. He will move his head to
move the globe over to the other horn, resulting in a tremor that
will make the egg, the fish or the orange roll.
