Siah Zangi
African slaves in Iran were called "Siah Zangi" because they were brought primarily from Zanj via Oman and Bandar Abbas. Zanj is what Arabs called what is known to Europeans as Zanzibar. In Persian, Zanzibar is called Zangebar, hence Zangi.
