Bee-shileh-pileh
When somone is unpretentious or modestly dressed, we say so and
so is "bee-shileh-pileh". Where does this expression
come from? Are "shileh" and "pileh" made up
words or do they have meaning?

a phrase that butchers use to explain that their meat is lean,
with no "Shileh or Pileh", which are the extra
fat and skin removed and
thrown away.
