Make a wish

How is faal-e Hafez done? What does it reveal?
First you make a wish then hold Divan-e Hafez in your hand and say: “ey Hafez e shiraz, toe kashef e har raazi, toe ra be shakhe nabatat ghasam goshay yek raazi.” You close your eyes and patiently open the Divan at random. Read the poem on top of the page; if it starts from the middle of the poem, then you go to the previous page to read from the beginning of that particular poem. Then you interpret the verses: depending on its general positive or negative meaning, you will know the anwer to your wish/question.
