Rocket to god

Buq'eh or shrine of Shaikh Safi al-Din Ardrebili the
founder of the Safavi Sufi order; he is buried under the front dome (to the left
of the photo); Shah Isma'il I, his great, great, great grandson and founder of
the Safavi Empire (1501-1722) is buried under the second dome behind the
first; note: Shaykh Safi's dome has "Allah" written all over it while Isma'il's
has "Ali" covering the outer wall. It is a magnificent manifestation of Iranian
architecture so let your reader guess what it is (photo by Hamid Rahbari). -- Maziar Behrooz
