Dozen Dojin
Does "Dozen" in English come from "Dojin" in Persian or the other way around? The "do" part has Indo-European roots; the "zen" part is Indo-European as well. My guess is that it was derived from Persian to Latin to Middle English to modern English. Also see Old French "do(u)zaine" and Latin "duodecim"...
