* Iran's youth football team beats Bahrain 2-1
Tehran, May 14, IRNA -- iran's young footballers beat bahrain team
2-1 here on friday in its first match of the preliminary soccer matches
in the forth asian group for the sindey olympics 2000. during the first
half of the 90-minute match, young iranian footballer rasool khatibi scored
two goals in 15 and 25 minutes for the under-23-year old iranian team.
meanwhile, bahraini forward hadi hamid abbas scored the only goal for
his team by a spectacular header 43 minutes into the match.
