* Masoudi joins Futbol Mundial
OTTAWA - The Canadian Soccer Association today announced it's Communications
Director, Mehrdad Masoudi, has resigned from his post effective November
12, 1999. The 35 year old, a native of Tehran, Iran who emigrated to Canada
in 1988, has been with the Association since October of 1992. Known as
an Encyclopedia of world soccer information, statistics were his trademark.
He leaves the Association for "Futbol Mundial", the world's
most watched soccer show as a programme organiser and senior researcher
in charge of creative development and will be based in London, England
