resisted well against Iran in the early minutes of the match. However,
Iran created afew chances before scoring. Overall the Iranian team looked

Iran Sports Press - The Asian Football Confederation, based in Malaysia,
has invited Ali Daei to the Asian Football Awards ceremony to be held on
April 6 in Beirut, the site of the upcoming Asian Cup finals. Thirty year
old Iranian star striker, Daei, is competing with Kuwaiti striker Bashar
Abdullah, Japan's Nakata and Nakayama, Korea's Hwang Sun Hong, and China's
Sun Wen for Sanyo's "Asian Player of 1999" Award. Nakata has
