Mehdi Karroubi

Interview with BBC six months after presidential elections

BBC: The Iranian government is being kept in power by force and will not last its four-year term, one of the opposition presidential candidates has predicted. Opposition member Mehdi Karoubi said the government faced pressure from members of parliament, the Iranian public and the rest of the world. "From the first day the election result came out I was convinced that Mr Ahmadinejad would not survive the full four years of his term," Mr Karoubi said >>>

What the hell matters if he is a mullah

by Ahmed from Bahrain on

or a monkey. He supports his people who tell the turth as he believes in them. He is your hope in desolate land. Cling to him and those like him until you reach to safety, then cut a deal with them.

There is a good saying: Don't throw away dirty water until you find clean.

Democracy is not like a plug and play Pentium upgrade. It takes time. It comes in stages like a child who learns to walk first before running, especially for a people who never experienced such an open system. Besides many of your country folk who oppose IRI are also devout Muslims. It takes generations for an ideal system to come about. It is organic and can not be manufactured overnight.

Certainly one thing is true. Iranians have paid a heavy price over the last 30 years. Such an Islamic system of government is a failure. True faith is personal and can not be used as a form of governing people, unless it supports collective freedom, transparent justice and equal opportunity for all

Iran will achieve that, it might take another 30 years but what is 30 in human history?

That's politicians for you, has nothing to do with being a Mullah. Politics makes you not you make politics.

This guy is fooling you

by efozab on

He is a Mullah and he is fooling you. He is just trying to get into power and then will screw you. Don't forget what happened 30 years ago.

More hoaxes for waffen SS propagandist

by Fair on

in this video. Look at all the beatings of defenseless women taking place in broad daylight by uniformed regime agents on camera. Is this also a hoax?

The millions of people that come out on the streets of Tehran protesting - was that a hoax? Does this look like a country in which 91% of the people support their government?

Why is Karroubi's office closed down? Why is his newpaper closed down? Why is ANY newspaper closed down? Is THAT a hoax WAFFEN SS MAJOR?

Or will you continue to stay silent on this while you defend fascism and rape and torture and murder of innocent Iranians?

Your days are numbered and your gang will be held accountable. You can bet on that. You will see how much of a "hoax" that is when it happens.

Of course, vermin like you will just change color and defend whoever else is in power at the time.

You have no conscience or honor when you support murderers.

Karroubi, Mousavi, = Dictatorship Lite

by gitdoun ver.2.0 on

Iran's permanent solution is Democracy without any prefix or suffix. Karroubi , Mousavi option is more like supporting a bad situation compared to a Worse scenario (ahmadinejad) And to this end I am supportive of the Green Movement and i wish them success. But make no mistake Karroubi/Musavi support the ideology of Wilayat Faqhi. They believe in this unislamic heretical doctrine and they love Khomeini; who they believe was a divine person. Two major ingredients that equal to Dictatorship LITE.
