This is horrible. What are they smoking? Opium? Their paraphernelia looks different. I don't know, it's sad.

I do not agree with your statement. I do trust that there are characters in the higher echelons of [akhunds] who make this available. It is in their benefit for a young society as Iran, for the youth to be distracted and neutralized. CITATION: CIA and 60's in USA, regarding the Anti Vietnam War activists.
When I was in Iran past April, The price of opium was cheaper than cigarettes, go figure my friend.

not surprized
by capt_ayhab on Mon Feb 02, 2009 04:08 PM PSTNot surprized, since Tehran is known ot be [drug capital] of the world.
Assuming this clip was shot in Iran, acts like these are becoming a fashion. Sadly more and more young girls and boys are falling into dark abyss of drug, alcohol, and even heart breaking prostitution.
Average age of prostitution has dropped from 16 to 14 in recent years. This is a sickness and bankruptcy of the society as a whole.

by Kaveh Nouraee on Mon Feb 02, 2009 04:00 PM PSTWhat is it about this that is so "western" to you?
Regardless of the part of the world from which you come, this simply doesn't have a place in any society.
In the western societies you are so clearly trying to criticize (while living in it yourself), this isn't acceptable.
But for a supposedly pious society like Iran, the fact that this occurs indicates that the government is just clueless.
I dont get you people You
by Anonymous11 (not verified) on Mon Feb 02, 2009 12:07 PM PSTI dont get you people
You condemn the Islamic regime and talk about how Iranians want to be western not Islamic
Yet here are Iranian women rebelling against Islam and being western (taking drugs etc) and you are angry

this is a systematic way of destroying an entire generation so they don't give a crap about politics or their culture.....the mullahs have a playbook that they are following to the tee.....in a few decades, if these parasite still rule our homeland, you can be sure that the iranian culture will be on its way to being destroyed...

A Reflection on Honor Killing
From day one
You are burned
Treat your close relatives
And later on your spouse and children
As your good friends
So when some of them
Lose their way and go astray in the future
You then only feel a friend has gone
Trying to find a way if possible
To throw a rope for their rescue
Without experience of
Any hard feeling that comes in form of extreme violence
This way you end up
Helping your relatives
In the best possible friendly way
Under all possible circumstances
With or without baptism

by Anonymous-7778 (not verified) on Sun Feb 01, 2009 05:30 PM PSTWhat's wrong with it? They are having fun like kids in any other country. Even back in 70's, I remember kids used to do drugs even in the university dorms. What do you think young people do here in this country (US) and Europe?
By the way, what a bunch of rich kids doing drug in Iran has anything do do with people expressing their opinions here about other subjects? Gooz beh shaghigheh cheh rabti dareh?
