there are always two sides to every story no, wait, kaveh said it best. THREE sides. yours, mine and the truth. excellent.

it's easy to criticize how much money was spent (or wasted if that's your point of view) on a wedding when there is so much need for humanitatian efforts. but on the other hand, you have no idea how much they do or give away. it's human nature to be critical and yes, even envious.

as for him being the love of her life, it reminds me of "deal or no deal". every round the player SWEARS that "my case holds the million bucks". then it's the 750K and then the 50K.

I'm so happy for Bita and Reza. I hope they have enjoyed their wedding and their life together is filled with bliss.

There will always be people who say mean things, specially when it comes to feeling less fortunate than the successful ones. Bita must be used to it by now.

Omid, you are done!

I read an article about Omid and Bita troubled marriage around a year ago. To be honest, I am always suspicious of women (not all of them, but most of them) as I think that they play lots of games and you better call women, movie stars as they are always acting. Again, as I said before, not all of them, majority of them.  (I really do not want to be shot and killed by tomorrow).   

But,

As I was/ am interested in the life of successful entrepreneurs and how they handle their private life beside the business, I regrettably have to say that this break up has nothing to do with Bita.

I believe that she is a really talented and pretty girl who was successful both in her family life and business. I have to point a finger on Omid as I really liked him and I still do.

His affair with that ugly bitch ruined his family. I still can not believe that Omid left Bita for that moron. Bita was helping Omid on his important decisions toward his successful career. But money can/will change everything.

Omid made his worse mistake in his life and he will be sorry for that for the rest of his life. Omid could not balance the pressure of work and family and got involved with that retarded girl. He should have taught more about his action.

I am not bringing the excuse but the affair revealed the troubled marriage and the end result was obvious. I don’t see a good future neither for Google nor Omid for the coming years.

I must congratulate Bita khanom for this wedding. Omid did not deserve this woman and he will understand one day for sure that Bita was behind most of his success. Bita was not a junky girl from clubs to be throwed away like that.

I especially love the part where it says that some of the guests took chartered planes "that Daryabari and Malek paid for". LMAO!!

Couples get divorced all the time, and the fact that Bita remarried is no big deal. If she's happy, she's happy. But if this marriage doesn't last, (and statistics give second marriages less hope for success than first ones...67% divorce rate vs. 50% for first marriages), she may end up being the one writing a check next time.

I don't care about the wedding or the money....Just I am very happy for Bita having found the love of her life, finally. The way she was betrayed by Kordestani, was the most horrible thing a woman can endured.

It proveed the old Iranian proverb : tommoun mard ke 2 ta mishe... When poor men become rich, they loos sight of their own values !

And I am proud of you!  You are a good man, though I can't quite understand why you would remember silly old me when you are looking at someone else's contribution!  Since you brought me into this, I'll say my piece!

I think when two people get married, it is only appropriate to wish them well and hope that they have a life full of love.  That is what I wish for Bita and Reza Malek.

I can never understand why some people choose to pick on others just because they are rich.  Bita Daryabari Malek (I assume this will be her new name), has been a staunch supporter of Iranian women and Iranian arts and literature.  She is a devoted philanthropist who has helped excellent cultural and academic programs at Stanford University in California. 

We have seen many Iranian weddings in diaspora.  Some are austere and some are lavish, depending on what people choose to do for their celebration.  While we may have different personal tastes, it is really rude and mean when people don't know how to congratulate someone on an important decision in their life.

My personal favorite party is when it is to celebrate love.  I wish the lovely couple all the best that life has to offer.

You are good MDP, all of you, and I have known that for a while.
