Watch out for those people with holes in their loofah gloves!
by Anonymous irani (not verified) on Sat Jan 03, 2009 11:08 AM PSTIn those old bath houses there are people who rub people's bodies with loofahs. While living in Isfahan we used to go a bath house. Some of those people have loofahs with holes in them so they can feel the bodies of the people that they rub.
bacteria and fungus
by fungus (not verified) on Sat Jan 03, 2009 09:05 AM PSTBacteria and fungus thrive and multiply in dark, humid and warm conditions such as a basement public bath. The guy interviewed in the end is absolutely right that in the old days they did not know about health but now that we know measures needs to be taken to prevent spread of disease and infections in these baths.
IRI doesn't care about keeping the people safe or clean and for certain IRI will not take any steps towards improving or maintaining the baths. IRI is more concerned about Palestine than its own people.
Wow...
