Nazy Kaviani

Suite for peace

by Nazy Kaviani on

I would like to thank Mr. Youshidge for delivering his heartfelt sentiments about war in our world and for the peace we desperately need. This piece of music is an extremely poignant and well-performed new age symphony. Mr. Nadimi and his wife, Emiko, along with the hundreds of musicians in Slovakia and in Washington DC, have created a memorable tribute to world peace, an increasingly rare commodity, all too quickly turning into just a dream for most.

I think the fact that these Iranian artists, Ahmad Nadimi, Shahrdad Rohani, and Sheraguime Youshije have all felt the same interest in portraying and wishing for peace shows that Iranians are not interested in wars and see them as impediments to harmonious life.

I am heartsick to see the recent dialogues on the site, where certain users have been advocating and "cheering" an unbalanced military attack on Gaza, costing precious lives and changing the landscape and prospects of peaceful and harmonious living on our planet further.

Hate does not solve problems, it just exacerbates and increases them. Peace is the way out and forward.
