New York Times: President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Tuesday made his first televised address since Iran’s disputed elections, calling them “the freest” and “healthiest” in the world, while opposition leaders seeking to revitalize their movement demanded an end to the government crackdown and the release of hundreds of arrested protesters. Faced with rising clerical and political opposition, Mr. Ahmadinejad tried to rally support for a second term whose legitimacy has been questioned before it has even begun, adopting conciliatory language even as his allies in the security services worked to extinguish the burning embers of opposition by force. Despite the crushing of its street protests, the opposition vowed to continue its movement against what it calls a fraudulent election, planning major rallies in three cities on Thursday, which the government already appeared to be trying to derail >>>

As we all know, the whole policy of the islamic republic is based on khomeini's doctrine, and ahmadinejad is doing a superb job in order to keep the legacy alive in every field possible.
So why some are allergic towards this criminal?!!
What's the difference between ahmadi or the other deceivers (irI's candidates)?
Aren't they all loyal to this evil regime; the irI and its doctrine?
I think ahmadi is one of the best representative irI ever had, mostly since khomeini goor beh goor shod, and also the very best thing that has ever happened to Iran & Iranians since 1979's devolution. He's like an "awakening"; the wind of change that will turn into a full blast storm...

Why a sad face Ahmaghi?
by choghok on Wed Jul 08, 2009 12:57 PM PDTWatching these clips and seeing Ali Khameneis clips on TV yesterday I have seen that reformists have pulled some strings with the help of Rafsanjani behind the scenes.
There was little doubt that Ahmaghi was good speaker, he know how to wrap his words and talk to his people, the uneducated and fanatics, to those who think not with the brain but with the heart.
Unlike last times though he actually read from paper. He did not have his famous ugly smile and he actually sounded a bit scared although he wanted to look calm. He said something about his plan that I think goes home in some places. That Iran can never come to its goals if it cooperates with other countries. That it has to go its own way to become the great nation it has always wanted to be. This is a good selling point for people inside Iran with no connection to outside world, but going in this direction would isolate Iran as North Korea and North Korea is no super power and it does not matter how many bombs it has.
Khameneis speech was also calmer than before and he said that this "argument" was within a family and should stay within a family. I do not know how civilise Khameneis family is but in our family we do not kill, torture, put in prison and calling our family member names. If that would happen to our neighbours we would call the police or if possible try to help them.
I wonder if people in Iran know just how much scared these 2 guys are. All because of them.

by Jasbe9 on Wed Jul 08, 2009 09:51 AM PDTjust wasting time listening to this arajeef.
This guy is very good at what he does
by Inja Iran (not verified) on Wed Jul 08, 2009 09:37 AM PDTLook, we know very well -- we all have personal, intimate experience -- how brazen these guys are in their falsification of actual events and how unreserved in their barbarism. But it is a mistake to call this guy Ahmaghi or a monkey. He is bright, unafraid, and a lot more honest about who is than his opponents in the election.
I can't help comparing him to the flabby, lying-through-his-teeth, Rafsanjani-puppet Mousavi. When that other fraud, Makhmalbaf, released his bayaniyeh as Mousavi'e representative he said that Mousavi used to be Che Guevara and now he is Gandhi. That is such an insult to my intelligence that if I ever had any inclination to support Mousavi I lost it right there.
Compared to the Madison Avenue-esque campaign of Mousavi, Ahmadinejad came through as authentic and independent. I have always thought these guys -- from the flab and slime of Mousavi and Rafsanjani to the extreme brutality and zolm of Ahmadi and rahbar -- will meet their demise when their counterparts in US, UK and Israel meet theirs.
